Salvatore's Designs

Resume Project
This resume does not just tell people about Salvatore's experience but also his personality. You can tell he is fun and light-hearted attitude but is also serious. This resume will stand out in a stack of resumes due to its originality and creativity.

Flyer Project
The flyer above takes a new and different approach to get people to learn about Planned Parenthood. Instead of people protesting about what they do, it flips the "protesting" against the protestors, to get them and others to learn about PP. Doing this in a light-hearted way is smart due to the serious topics and issues PP deals with.

Brochure Project

The overall theme of the layout is cohesive with all its elements as well as the point of the brochure. Desserts are fun and adorable foods, and the brochure shows that in the design. The bright colors resemble the desserts and make this brochure stand out and eye-catching.

Postcard Project
If this was given to someone completely random, that person would have an idea about who Salvatore is just by looking at it. The ticket and the background indicate that he is interested in performing. The color scheme is smart, the background ties in the color of Sal's shirt and the yellow makes the words and image of him stand out by contrasting the darker colors.

Logo Project
The original concept for the design was for it to mimic the subway signs found in New York City. This gives a sense of connection because subways are a system of trains connectd underground. The yellow line on the left of "connections" also shows connection in the design by its continuation to the right side.

Business Card Project
Since the logo was based on New York City subway signs, the background is part of the NYC subway map. The minimal design on the front (first image) ties into the back's (second image) more complicated layout well with the repeating ideas. Having the logo be one of the only things in color is smart because it is not fighting for attention and is able to be a focus point.
